Veterans Counseling in Solvang on May 22, 1917

George Moran, Veteran Outreach Specialist, from the San Luis Obispo Veterans Affairs Center will provide counseling services to war veterans at the Solvang VFW Small Hall on 22 May from 9AM to 3PM.  The goal of the Veterans Center is to provide a broad range of counseling, outreach, and referral services to eligible veterans in order to help them make a satisfying post war readjustment to civilian life.  George will provide the following counseling services for all war zone veterans from WWII through Afghanistan War:  Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Marital and Family Counseling, Bereavement Counseling, Sexual Trauma Counseling, Education and Outreach, Assistance with Applying for VA Benefits, Referral to Medical Services, Alcohol/Drug Treatment Referral, Employment Referral, and Referral to Community Resources.  The counseling services on 22 May will not require an appointment, but will be done on a first come basis.  If you do want to make an appointment, you can contact George at 805-782-9101 or his cell at 805-651-0785.  George will provide counseling at the Solvang Veterans Building once a month in the future on days to be announced.
